We are, Russ and Dee Robison and we’ve both been ardent pet lovers since early childhood. Both of us came from families that believed learning to love, respect and care for animals at an early age was an important part of our growth and development. Russ was raised on a farm and in addition to personal pets attended to the needs of all kinds of livestock. We both had many different species of pets growing up, but dogs and horses were our common bond. We’ve experienced the joy of birth and the pain of loss with our pets and we’ve learned to make the most of the time we have with them through proper care and feeding. We were introduced to the sport of dog training and showing in 1971, we loved it and remain active in it today. We purchased our first AKC show dog in December 1971. Our first homebred AKC Champion was Ch. DeeRun’s Carol Jean. We have bred American, Canadian, Peruvian and International Champions, Grand Sweepstakes Winners, as well as AKC obedience titled Doberman Pinschers. Russ and I have had a lot of fun through the years with our Doberman Pinschers. One highlight was being invited by the Peruvian Kennel Club to come to Peru and put on an All-Breed Conformation Handling Seminar. In 2005 I started down a new path in the dog world and became an AKC judge. We have been involved with the pet industry for over 35 years.
